Gluten-Free Nutella Banana Ring

INGREDIENTS

1 Package of Geefree Puff Pastry Dough

Gluten-Free flour for dusting

¾ Cup Warm Nutella, divided

2 Bananas cut into ½” slices

Small Oven Proof Bowl

1 Egg, beaten

Raspberry Jam for dipping (warmed)

 

 

DIRECTIONS

Bring dough to room temperature.  Preheat oven to 375°F.

Dust the countertop. Take the dough and fold in half then half again. Roll it out to approximately 1/4” thick, or as thin as you can make it without them breaking.

Cut pastry dough into a rectangle. Take about ¼ cup of the warmed Nutella and spread it at the top of the rectangle all the way across and about 2” down. Place bananas on the Nutella standing up about ¼” apart. Now cut the dough into 12 strips exactly as wide as the banana slices. DON’T CUT ALL THE WAY THROUGH. STOP AT THE LINE OF NUTELLA AND BANANAS. Starting at the side of the bananas, roll the dough up. Take Bowl and put it onto a greased baking sheet. Wrap the rolled banana around the bowl. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sanding sugar or anything kind of decorations you would like. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. It can be served warm.

Take the remaining Nutella and warm up. Serve with Banana Ring.
